Real Working Music

there are times when you say to yourself, "boy howdy, i am really tired!" today was one of those days. beat. circumstance. life goes on. but my new band now has a record contract on the table with a "grooming label." that is a label that drops money on a new band; books and supports them, in order to shop them to a large label for big money and what not. the grooming label makes mad money doing this and the bands they push are moving on to bigger and better things! first part of my post-bobin day. then i made a great showing with a local funk band, skoolyard. blew people's heads off and, shock and perversion, got paid! it was a fantastic (or more than) music day! i am still home far later than my tired ass would desire (i stayed at the bar getting strait and helping them clean in the mean time) and now i am home...looking to sleep a few hours and then go back to work doing family things. it is all good. in spite of this brilliant music day and the fact that my disposition is in a good place, bed is a good plan! in fact, it is a better plan than i make it most of them time. i need to start a love affair with my bed. i think it will be better for all involved.

but still, happy day!

sometimes one will neglect their blog in order to be a good passer-bye. that is my role. for now. i am soon to learn how to post music on this here landing...the new band must be heard!!!! being a part of said music leads me to explain it thus: there is still rock in this world. take that one to the bank and i will pay the "iou's" shortly. as it sits, i will remain an avid fan of all of you!
