Hijacked!

this is my first post in a long time and it is mostly for my beans. everyone went to bed. bobin, beans and buttons (post ingrown claw surgery...sorry little cat). i went out--on foot--to read a book and have a cocktail. i was loaded up into a random car by a good friend of mine (t) that is a really bad influence...really bad. in fact, i am trying to cut him out of my social life right now; not because i hate him, but because i need to practice a different style of life kung-fu. well, he showed up at my local bar and pulled me out of the place (not all his fault, it's me--i'm just weak around him) and took me to a house party. i had a great time! met new people and met people that know really old people in my life that i am looking forward to checking in on. the downside is this: i fell asleep on a couch in the garage next to the being-abused-foos-ball-table. when i closed and then (to me) immediately opened my eyes, it was 3:45 in the morning. the ever-present worse down side was there was no one to drive me home...legally. so it was the long...long...walk for me. i am going to hurt tomorrow. i am tired. it is, ultimately, my own damned fault. i will live. i will be okay. i need to start stopping being the "old" forkbeard. never fear...the forkbeard is not gone nor is the softness setting in...i merely need to be a more selective and smart about being the strong forkbeard. i love my little beans for being patient with me...i am really impressed i am not dead yet by her hand for all of my silliness. hell to that...i love her for everything she is! she makes me who i am...the good parts, anyway.

i do win all around! i really don't deserve it!
